First blog!

So this is my first blog...ever! It's exciting and somewhat daunting at the same time. It's the last day of 2008. I can't believe it! So much happened this past year, and I don't even know what to think. I graduated high school and began my first term of college three months later. I can't believe I'm in college. It makes me sound so much older than I am. I just turned 18, after all. Which is also an incredibly liberating, yet scary feeling that I'm sure many of you have already experienced. But these past few months of college forced me to grow up, and I think I rose to the challenge. I know I still have A LOT to learn, but I think I did well, all things considered. I'm also feeling more optimistic about the new term. I'll be at home ringing in the new year with my family. I hope everyone has a great New Year as well :)
